Eastleigh and District Model Boat Club
The Sail Division has its home at the beautiful Lakeside Country Park, with its lakes, wild life and famous model railway.
We always welcome visitors and new members of all levels of experience.
We meet on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday mornings and race between 10.00 and 12.00. Do come along either to watch or join in – contact us first and we might be able to lend you a boat to try out.
We abide by the RYA Racing Charter which encourages fairness and sportsmanship within the yacht racing community. Click on the RYA image for a copy of the charter.
We are affiliated to the Model Yachting Association (MYA), which is itself affiliated to the RYA and the International Radio Sailing Association, the IRSA. The Sail Division races International One Metre yachts and Radio Marbleheads both of which have international status. We also race the Dragon Force 65, an off the shelf, single design class and the Dragon Flite 95 yacht, the slightly larger sister to the DF65, both of which are gaining widespread popularity.
